Chang Reflection

Philippines Appeal

Philippines is known to be a one of the poorest countries in the world due to the many struggles that the people face in their everyday lives, their poor living conditions, and lack of basic necessities and schooling. As part of the school’s social justice initiative, we will be collecting donations in order to help those who are less fortunate than us. This includes non-perishable foods and toiletries. Even the smallest things can help a considerable amount for those in need.

Student Leadership Group Camp

As part of our growth and development, the Year 12 leadership team attended a camp in Bacchus Marsh with Vince and Lauren. We took part in a variety of activities to improve our skills, communication, teamwork, and even begun organising and setting up a plan for the exciting year to come. Through this camp, we were able to build stronger relationships with each other as well as form a closer connection to our faith.

Looking forward to the year ahead

2019 was a great year for the Chang cluster. We had a great year where it was noted that we had donated the most items to charity and had great participation in all events all  year round. But we only came second. Looking forward into this year, as a cluster, we are hoping to achieve many great things such as being proactive in our social justice not only through the new “Friyay” events but also taking up any new opportunities to offer a  helping hand to the community. Another big goal of ours is to take the O’Riley shield this year.
