National Young Leaders Day

On Monday the 20th of March, all student leaders caught a train to the city to take part in the National Young Leaders Day Halogen Conference at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

At the conference, we heard about the inspirational journeys of leaders and how to make a difference in the world. We all had great fun!

The guest speakers for the day were:

• Mathew Pavolich (former Dockers Captain)
• Eliza Greene (Pro Surfer)
• James Foley (author and Illustrator)
• The Honourable Simone McGuirk (Minister for Youth)

Some of the student leaders were lucky enough to meet some of the speakers in person and have their photos taken.

We were also engaged and inspired by an amazing dancer Ezra, alongside him was the most awesome host, DJRaf.

All these magnificent leaders talked about their journey through life and how they overcome their struggles.

We all feel confident, inspired, and ready to change the world as future leaders!
