Year 3 News

Room 23

What an exciting, fun start to the year we have had in Room 23! Students have really enjoyed working in a flexible seating classroom and being able to work cooperatively with like-minded individuals. Some things we are learning about include Six Thinking Hats, gratitude, and how to write a narrative using Sizzling Starts. We are looking forward to continuing this amazing journey together!

Room 24

We have had a busy term so far. We have been learning how to write persuasive texts, we have drawn Kinetic Art Pirahnas, and designed homes for guinea pigs. We have learnt what it means to be a Bucket Filler and how to practice having a Growth Mindset. We’ve completed NAPLAN and are starting to learn our times tables. Our class novel this term is Ratburger by David Walliams.
