Wow, what a Term it has been!! The children have settled in and established great connections with their educator and their peers. We have all enjoyed a busy but enjoyable term together. Term 2 promises to be just as busy and even more fun!
These past two weeks have been particularly busy with Harmony Day celebrations, the Colour Run and some Welcome picnics.
I am sure all the children are looking forward to a visit from the Easter Bunny this coming weekend. We hope you all enjoy a restful Easter break and term break.
Our 4 YO groups were visited last week by some special guests to talk about responsible pet owenership and safety around dogs. All the children learnt how to approach dogs they do not know when out and about, and what to do if they come across a dog that is upset or angry. This is always a great incursion with great helpful tips to keep everyone, including our beloved 4 legged friends safe and happy sharing our parks and playgrounds.
It has been great to be able to hold "Welcome Picnics" again this year. It is such a great opportunity for the parents and grand parents to mingle and get to know each other while your children show you around their kinder and show you some of the things they get up to whilst they are at Kinder.
We were all disappointed to have to cancel the 3 YO picnic this week, but we will be rescheduling the picnic for early Term 2 and will send out the date as soon as possible so you can all plan to be there.
What an AMAZING experience the Colour Run was. The gorgeous smiling faces of the all the children in amoungst it all was so lovely to see.
We love that we can be apart of these big school events. The event was planned meticulously and extravegantly by the Principal and the Community Network. They are to be congratulated on an incredible job.
