As we come to the end of Term 1, we would like to take this opportunity to update you on some of the events and activities that have taken place in our school over the past few weeks.

Colour Run Fundraiser:

We would like to extend our gratitude to all students, staff, and families who participated in our Colour Run fundraiser. It was a terrific event that brought the whole school community together to raise funds for a worthy cause.

Year 4 Camp

We are starting to get very excited about the Year 4 Camp that is taking place early next term (Week 3: Wednesday, 10th May – Friday, 12th May).

The first camp payment instalment, permission and medical information were due to be paid on Qkr by last Friday, 31st of March. Thank you to everyone who completed this task. The second and final camp payment instalment ($172) is due on Qkr by Wednesday, 26th of April.

To begin preparing for their fantastic camp experience, this week the children have brought home a document outlining all the equipment they need to bring along to camp. Please make sure you have looked over this list with your child.

Final information about the camp will be circulated in the first fortnight of Term 2. If you have any queries in the meantime, please speak to your child’s classroom teacher or email the Year 4 Camp Coordinator - Paul Souter (paul.souter@education.vic.gov.au).

Cultural Diversity Week:

Our annual Cultural Diversity Week was a huge success. The students enjoyed learning about different cultures and participating in traditional dances and games. We would like to thank all families who contributed to the event by bringing clothing, and other cultural items.

Cross Country:

Our school's Cross Country event was held on Tuesday, and we are proud to say that all students put in a great effort. It was wonderful to see students cheering each other on, and we were impressed with their determination and resilience. Congratulations to all participants!

Inter-school Chess Competition:

We are thrilled to announce that our school chess team participated in an inter-school chess competition last weekend and came in second place. We are proud of our students for their hard work and dedication and congratulate them on their achievements.
