Footy Colours Day!

Footy Colours Day and Staff versus Students footy match.

Just before breaking up for the school holidays the College enjoyed "Footy Colours Day." All students were encouraged to come in the colours of a sporting team they barrack for. Some students were basketball gear, soccer team tops and of course AFL team colours. The atmosphere continued at lunchtime with a very entertaining staff versus student football match. Year 7 students played against the staff first with Year 8 students taking over half way through. There were some fast plays by Ethan, Dom and Belinda; a couple of excellent marks from Bianca and Sara with strong tackles against Glen and Conrad. The staff proved to be too skilled against the students despite a strong charge by the Year 8 students to close gap in the scores. Oh well - students will need to try again next year!
