Junior School bake off
In the past few weeks of online schooling, the Junior School leaders conducted a Bake Off competition.
Year 7 and 8 students were given the opportunity to enter images of any style recipe they had made themselves. While most of the entries were sweet with cakes and desserts dominating, there were just a few savory dishes too.
All the entries were amazing and here are the results as determined by the JS leadership team. (Apologies if our descriptions are quite right.)
Year 7:
1st: Mudcake with Strawberries/Raspberries - Casey Maughan
2nd: Chocolate Cake with Pink Flowers- Qin Wang
3rd: World War II inspired cake - Alyssa Righetti
Honourable mention MGSC Cupcakes -Olivia Adams
Year 8:
1st: M&M Cake
2nd: Carrot cake with moulded carrot decorations - Indy Barone
3rd: Macaroons - Kathy Gu
Honourable mention - Two tone Cheesecake with strawberries - Veronika Uo
Well done to all of the participants, you all did an amazing job.
