Road and rail disruptions
Level crossing removal works are disrupting Frankston line trains, local bus routes and road access. Plan your journey to school to minimise delays.
Buses replace trains
Buses replace trains on the Frankston line between Moorabbin and Mordialloc until Monday 27 July.
After school train replacement buses
There is a special bus service for MGSC students at the end of period 4. Train replacement buses departs from Charman Road and travel to Parkdale and Mordialloc stations. Through the schools engagement team, the PTV are being kept informed of student numbers and finishing times to meet appropriate social distancing needs.
Roads
- Balcombe Road level crossing closed until Monday 22 June
- Charman Road level crossing closed until Wednesday 10 June
- Park Road level crossing closed until Monday 8 June
- Como Parade East changed to one-way traffic towards Warrigal Road until late July
Bus routes
Public bus services in the local area, including ones with stops outside MGSC, will be impacted by the road closure. Regular routes have changed.
