Outdoor Ed

Outdoor Education class has used their local areas during isolation to continue experiencing the outdoors and all its benefits. Photos of their environs were added to their Journal Assignment as they continue to discuss the environmental initiatives in their areas and the local flora and fauna. They are encouraging everyone at MGSC to get out and explore!

How the Outdoors can lift your mood?

Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, has been shown to improve your wellbeing. Getting out and exploring the nature around you will not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes by:

  • improving your mood
  • reducing feelings of stress or anger
  • helps you take time out and feel more relaxed
  • improves your physical health and helps you become more active
  • improves your confidence and self-esteem

The group have also contributed to your natural environment.
