Yarralea Children’s Centre – Open Day

Yarralea is holing an open day for prospective families on Saturday 28 May, from 10am – 12pm. 

 

For families wishing to enrol their child in 3-year-old or 4 year-old kindergarten, please enrol directly at www.yarralea.com.au rather than via the council channels.

Parent Seminar: Coping with Change

Amaze is running an interactive webinar for parents and family members of children (0 – 7) on the autism spectrum or those who have concerns about their child.

 

Parkside Junior Football Club – Girls Development Squad

Join the Parkside Football Club every Friday night under lights to give footy a try in a safe, inclusive, and non-competitive environment. Girls footy is fun! 

  • When: Fridays 5 – 6pm, from 29 April
  • Who: Year 2, 3 and 4 girls
  • Where: Pitcher Park, Alphington

If your child is interested in learning martial arts, Omega Martial Arts is offering classes.

 

Thornbury High School: Concept Program Applications 

The Thornbury HS Concept Program runs from Year 7 to Year 9 and is designed to cater for students who have a love of learning. The program is designed to extend and challenge these students, whilst engaging with the mainstream curriculum.

  • Submit applications for the Year 7 2023 Concept program to the school's general office by Friday 20 May 2022. Click for the application.
  • Testing for the program is scheduled on Saturday 4 June, from 8.45 - 11am.
