RAT Program Update
Changes to the RAT Program
RATs will continue to be distributed (one pack for every two weeks) from the main school office – just as they have been throughout this school year. This will continue for the remainder of this term.
From Monday 23 May 2022, students will no longer be recommended to undertake either twice weekly RATs.
Instead, RATs are required by students who:
- Are household contacts. 5 negative RATS over a 7 day period are needed for students to attend school.
- Have COVID symptoms.
The ongoing supply of RATs ensures that families have the test kits should they be needed (if the child is a household contact or has symptoms.)
Positive Test? What Next?
Families must continue to notify the Department of Health and FPS if your child returns a positive RAT result. Additionally, families should inform FPS if any children are household contacts.
