Phillipines Appeal

Now is the favourable time; this is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2)

On Wednesday 6th March, the College gathered in clusters and prayed together for Ash Wednesday. The student leaders took charge of the ceremonies and distributed the Ashes to their peers and teachers. We are particularly grateful to the College because this is traditionally our first appeal. Each student brought a non-perishable food item to donate to the Philippines. These were later taken to the Holy Spirit of Freedom Community, Philippines Ministry who will organise for their transportation abroad. We thank the student leaders who managed and led the ceremonies and we thank the College community for their donations. This truly begins our Lenten journey which consist of prayer, fasting and almsgiving.
