AMEB EXAMS

Congratulations to the students who took part in the AMEB exams over the last few weeks. Results coming in so far are outstanding and all students and teachers should be very proud of their efforts.

PERFORMANCES IN MUSIC CLASSES

Performances are occurring throughout all music classes at the present moment - both Instrumental and Classroom, and students are demonstrating their growing capacity and artistry as musicians. All staff are impressed with the level of musicianship that they are seeing. Well done!

INTERMEDIATE CONCERT

Congratulations to all the students who took part in the Intermediate Concert on Wednesday 13 November. The Ovenden Band, the Keenan Strings, the Saxophone quartet, the Junior String Quartet and the Intermediate Stage Band wowed the audience with their collective musicianship. Thank you to all the music directors - Ms Tracy Videon, Mr Stuart Cook, Ms Rose Kavanagh and Mr Martin West, for their ongoing development of the students in their ensembles and for putting together a high standard performance.

MAINTENANCE TO HIRED INSTRUMENTS

Students who have hired instruments are reminded that they will be returning their instruments for maintenance before they go on holidays at the end of the year and to remove personal items from the cases. For many students, the return will be after the Junior concert on Thursday 5 December. Holiday hire forms are available from the Music Centre if you wish to hire your instrument over the long term break.
