YEAR 7 ICT - ROBOTICS

The Year 7 ICT classes are learning about Robots at the moment. Students are working in pairs with an EV3 robot, learning how to program it to move, turn and to make shapes using loops. The EV3s are programmed through software on the student’s Chromebook using a block programming language, not unlike Scratch which they used in Term 3. Students are having fun and learning at the same time. The Robotics topic is great for developing problem solving skills as students refine and fine tune their programs.
