South Metro Primary Track and Field Carnival

On Wednesday 19th October Kobe, Tahlia, Matilda, Alfred and Lachlan L competed in the Regional Athletics. What an absolute achievement making it to this level of competition! As always, they competed with such determination and pride. 

Kobe competed in the 1500m and came 5th.

Matilda competed in the 1500m and came 5th. 

Tahlia competed in the 1500m and came 12th.

Lachlan L competed in the MC 100m and came 3rd, long jump 3rd, shot put 1st.

Alfred competed in the MC 100m and came 5th, 200m and came 4th and shot put, 2nd. 

Lachlan also threw a record for the South Metro Primary competition of 5.01m in shot put, congratulations. 

Community Lifesaving Certificate

Last week (in the freezing cold) I completed my Community Lifesaving Certificate which allows me to supervise students not only in the surf but in any open water environment. 

Swim Squad

Our 3-6 Swim Squad will begin next week, if you haven't accepted your Operoo AND paid at the front office, please make sure you do as soon as possible. Our Swim Squad will be capped, so first in. 

Prep-Year 4 Intensive Swimming 

An Operoo was sent home about our intensive swimming program, please make sure you have had a look.
