Bass Coast Camp - Year 10 Advance  -  Student Reflection

I really enjoyed the most recent camp down to the bass coast. It was a camp that I will probably never forget. The best thing about this camp was the fact that everyone who went got along. It was so much fun spending time with people I probably wouldn’t spend time with out of school. I loved playing hide and seek on the first night with everyone and I loved playing the games in the games room with everyone. I also enjoyed the walks that we went on, the first day’s walk was a bit boring, and I was disappointed when we had to turn around when the path was shut but then that night made up for it when we got to walk to the trestle bridge and then down onto the beach. That night was freezing cold, and I woke up like 8 times because of it but the weather was really nice on the 2nd day. The Thursday was probably my favourite day as the walk we did in the morning was absolutely beautiful and the surfing in the afternoon was by far my favourite experience. It was so much fun having the thrill of standing up on the surfboard, however it wasn’t much fun getting taken out by other surfboards (Charlotte). The next day also had an amazing walk on the bass coast, I wish it wasn’t as foggy so we could see further ahead of us. I enjoyed walking as a group as well again talking to people I usually wouldn’t talk to. Overall, it has by far been the best camp I have been on whilst being at high school!
