There are many exciting things planned for 2021 which I will announce over the next few weeks.

Work Experience update

At this point Work Experience cannot be approved until we have had confirmation from CEDWW in regards to insurance. I am anticipating this will happen by the end of the month.

There will also be some changes this year. One of the changes is that a 15 minute online COVID19 course needs to be completed before any Work Experience will be approved. Details of this course will be available once we have confirmation from CEDWW that Work Experience can proceed.

I am looking at booking a White Card course for March and need expressions of interest. Every year, without fail, I have students say they were unaware of the courses and end up having to do the course externally at a much more expensive price. If you are even considering doing Work Experience in the Construction Industry I suggest you do the White Card course. Please see below for details

White Card (officially know as Work Safely in the Construction Industry) Expressions of Interest

• It is compulsory to do this course if you want a job (even for Work Experience) in the Construction Industry.
   
• If you are interested, please complete this form.
   
• Once I have confirmed price and date, I will then email you giving, you details of the course.
   
• There will be limited spots so to confirm your spot, once you have received the email, you MUST pay the front office and say it is for White Card. If you do not pay by the date explained in the email sent to you, then your name will be removed from the list.
   
• We will only do this 2 times per year. So make sure you register your interest so you do not miss out.
