Curriculum Matters

Well done to our students for the positive way they have started the school year. The staff at the College have spoken of the importance of team and that being part of a team is key to everyone moving learning forward. One other essential ingredient is engaging in learning conversations, whether that be in the classroom or in coaching. Being proactive about learning means that students can be well supported. These sentiments were also echoed at the 2020 HSC High Achievers Assembly which was held on Tuesday. This was another great opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate our students positive learning growth in the HSC last year.

Just a reminder, for any students who are considering changing elective subjects or engaging in alternative patterns of study, please understand, changes are by negotiation and may be impacted upon by subject lines, class sizes and NESA requirements. For a change, of course, students must come and see myself, engage in a discussion around options and then complete the necessary paperwork. At that point, a new timetable will be issued. All timetable changes need to be completed by the end of Week 3 this term.
