Landcare Grant

A big thank you to Landcare and their sponsors for giving Heathmont college a Landcare Grant.

We have used the grant money to buy garden tools and equipment and 2700 native shrubs from the wonderful CRISP nursery. Students in our year seven students have been weeding the garden learning about biodiversity in Maroondah. I would also Like to thank John Ikin, Daniel Webster, Michael Brewer for their help implementing this project. We will continue to plant the shrubs throughout this term and are looking forward to watching the gardens grow and attract native birds.
