'The Wonder of Living'
A Family Education Night
Dear SJV families,
On Tuesday the 27th of April, The Wonder of Living Family Enrichment Program came to our school to offer a Family Night on the topic of sexuality education. They ran two sessions:
- A session for 3/4 students and their parents
- A session for 5/6 students and their parents
WHY IS SEXUALITY EDUCATION IMPORTANT FOR OUR STUDENTS?
St John Vianney’s and Open Doors is committed to empowering parents as the primary educators of their children with the aim of reducing adolescent risk-taking behavior and promoting healthy decision making.
Thank you to all those parents and students who made the decision to join us for one or both sessions. We have had some conversations with parents who attended and the sessions seem to have been well received. We would love to hear your feedback, both positive and constructive.
