Pi Day Activities

March 14th was international Pi Day - a day dedicated to celebrating the importance of the use of Pi in Mathematics and Science.

Our year 7 and 8 students completed activities exploring the importance of Pi (3.14159265…), the ratio of a circle circumference to its diameter.

Students were also encouraged to practice reciting Pi to multiple decimal places, which has been a Trinity tradition for many years.

Congratulations to the following 6 students for their outstanding efforts:

100 places - Ryley McDonnell (8C)

74 places - Matilda Salmon (8B)

45 places - Jaialla Turner (8A)

41 places - Ahmed Qambari (7D)
