Greater Western Swimming Championships

On Thursday, March 18 thirteen enthusiastic swimmers set off for Horsham after a full school day to compete in the 2021 SSV Greater Western Swimming meet the next day. After a long bus ride, tea and watching the AFL in our motel rooms they rested up and were very fresh for the event on Friday.

The SSV GW meet features the best swimmers from each division from Mildura to Echuca, Colac to Portland and everywhere inbetween, so competition was always going to be hot. Each of our swimmers should be proud of how well they represented the College and conducted themselves on the trip.

Special mention to Sienna Langdon and Harry Brien who managed to win events and progress through to the SSV State Swimming Championships to be help early in Term 2. Results of the day are listed below -
