House Beep Test challenge

Steve Bustin, Academic Dean of Physical Education and Health

As there was no House Cross-Country Carnival again this year, the PE and Sport Departments decided to make the annual Beep Test Challenge a House event, where all students from Years 7 to 11 would complete the aerobic fitness test during their weekly sport time.

Each student scored points for their House, depending on the level and shuttle in the test they completed. They pushed themselves to the limit as they tried to gain more shuttles and, therefore, more points for their House, with every point counting.

Congratulations to Burman, who took out the House competition for the second year in a row! They won two out of the three divisions and had the most competitors across the School.

On an individual level, a huge congratulations must go to the two overall winners (both from Year 8) – Marcel Krivonos for the males and Clancy Westaway for the females. Marcel managed level 12.8 and Clancy scored 12.4,  a new School record!
