Maths Talent Quest 2020

Are you looking for a project to fill your time in isolation? Would you like to investigate something new and novel to help us understand more about how Maths can be used to explain aspects of our everyday life?

The Maths Talent Quest is an annual event where students design an open-ended investigation using Mathematics on your choice of topic. You can present your results as a project, a creative writing task, a poster, or as a media or technology presentation.  You may enter the competition as an individual, as a group or even as a whole class! There are prizes available at a school level, and two entries per year level can proceed to enter at a state level.

Please contact Miss Walder at diana.walder@thornburyhs.vic.edu.au to register your interest in participating in the competition or for more details about the competition. School entries are due Friday, 26th of June, with state entries closing Friday, 14th August.
