Congratulations Tobias

Year 10 student Tobias, has been awarded the Kwong Lee Dow Scholarship from the University of Melbourne. The Kwong Lee Dow Scholars Program is an academic enrichment program designed to support high achieving students and if Tobias receives an ATAR of 95.00+ in year 12, he will be guaranteed a place at the University of Melbourne.

The Program will allow Tobias to take part in an array of events and activities focused on expanding his academic and personal horizons. These include a welcome event, VCE revision lectures, personal development workshops, overnight adventures on campus, celebration events with family and more.

To be eligible for the scholarship, Tobias, who is the student representative on our School Council, had to be in the top 5% of academic achievers in his year level and have shown leadership potential.  The application process required him to answer six questions about his interests, commitments, leadership abilities, achievements and future career goals and have an endorsement from the College.

Tobias says, “this opportunity is having the ability to taste university life early, maximise my academic goals, and provide me with support through VCE and uni.”

Congratulations again Tobias, you should be very proud of yourself!
