Prep-Year 1-Year 2
This term the Junior School has been learning about the past and what school used to be like. Last week we celebrated History Day where we dressed up in old fashioned clothes and acted like we were in school in the past. We learnt the heel and toe polka dance, played games, read John and Betty books and practiced writing with a feather and ink.

Get ready for netballwith Net Set Go
at St James
Wednesday 8.00am-8.45am
Years 2 and 3
Net Set Go will be running at St James in Terms 2 & 3 on Wednesday mornings. Join in skills, drills and practice matches to get ready for competition netball in Year 4.
Boys and girls in years 2 and 3 are invited to enrol in the 2021 NetSetGo Program, which is run by volunteer St James parents in conjunction with the St Finbar’s Netball Club.
Participants can be dropped off at the school courts with coaches Michelle Thomas and Angie Phelan at 8.00am in their sneakers. We will make sure they are changed into school shoes and ready for school at 8.45am.
The season will run from Wednesday 28 April to the middle of August, excluding school holidays. Fees for the 2021 season are $130 which includes registration with Netball Victoria and a NetSetGo Pack. Registration for NetSetGo is now open. Parents are then asked to read the ‘terms and conditions’ of registration and follow the link to MyNetball Registration.
Please note that children are not to be left unsupervised before 8.00am.
If Wednesdays at St James don’t suit you, participants can join in Thursday afternoons at St Finbar’s Primary School from 4.00pm to 5.00pm. You will need to choose your preferred time and location on enrolment.
