Many local and statewide sports events have been postponed over the past few weeks due to the current Covid-19 situation. However, student achievements that we are incredibly proud of include:

• Futsal

Congratulations to our students who played in the Australian Futsal Association Regional tournament during the winter school holidays. 

The U18 Boys played very strongly and made it to the Grand Final, before coming in as runners-up in a highly competitive match. 

Our players in the U15 Girls teams also had a great tournament, showing skill and spirit in all matches.

• Volleyball

Late last term, Harry Sinclair (Year 12) played as part of the NSW CHS Volleyball Team Harry in the Quad Series Competition held in Sydney. 

Harry was announced as an All Star 7 (pictured at top of page), selected from all the players participating in the competition.  Congratulations ... what a huge honour! 

• Cricket

Congratulations to Sophie Parsons (Year 8) on her recent selection in the U16 Girls' ACT\Country NSW cricket squad. 

• Tennis

Congratulations to Nicole Tarrant (Year 10 ) for selection in the North West Tennis Team.
