We congratulate “Artwork of the Month” winner for October, Darcy Hotston in Year 8 for his “junk” sculpture of a praying mantis that he constructed using recyclable materials. Our Year 11 Visual Arts in Practice students Louie Watt, Nick Sowby, Toby Cronin, Christian Wightman, Ethan Tallis and Charlie Hawke have been busy putting the finishing touches to their murals in the Art courtyard, as part of their unit, “The Wall”, as we head into the final weeks of the term. Four Year 12 boys, Joe Clarke, Angus Mines, Aymar de Roquefeuil, and Jack McIntosh represented the College in the recent Creative Generation Excellence in Visual Arts awards. Their diverse and innovative artworks formed part of the Metropolitan Region’s Digital Online exhibition.
