Our four house teams in Year 5/6 gathered together to remember Daniel Lagastes, a former student at St Cecilia’s. Daniel was a keen sportsperson who sadly died at a young age. A great day was had by all playing soccer and netball showing true sports spirit. 

Hooptime

This week saw the culmination of a long and remakably success 2022 Hooptime campaign. 3 teams, the Junior All Star Boys, the Junior Future Stars and Senior Future Stars all took part in the State Chmpionships this week.

Their final results had them ranked as follows:

Junior All Star Boys - Top 20 in the State

Junior Future Stars - Top 4 in the State

Senior Future Stars - Top 4 in the State

A truly incredible acheivement given that hundreds of teams were entered in each of these tournaments.

We want to give a very special thanks to Teresa Galgani who put in countless hours organising preparing and training the students throughout the year. Thank you Teresa, youare amazing.

Thank you also to our year 6 coaches. Michael, Sabrina and Ivy did a wonderful job guiding the Junior Future Stars through every stage of the torunament.
