The junior classes have completed their self-portraits and are now working on a nativity scene, incorporating the themes of Advent and Christmas and the art elements of colour, shape and line.

Students in the middle school are also creating self-portraits reflecting aspects of their lives that they want to express through their art. Students explored the self-portraits of famous artists and the various styles and personal elements incldued in their artwork.

Self-portraits are also being completed by our senior students who are experimenting with combining realism and abstract symbolic versions of themselves. There are wonderful pieces of work coming out of all the classes and some students are surprising themselves with their artistic flair!
