St. Cecilia's Got Talent

What a week it has been!

St. Cecilia's Got Talent has taken the school by storm.
  • We commenced the week with Sign Up Monday.
  • Junior Heats on Wednesday.
  • Senior Heats on Thursday.
  • Finals on Friday.

The SRC members formed the judging panel and the recess and lunchtime performances were packed to the rafters!

The bravery, confidence and raw talent was nothing short of impressive. A very generous and supportive audience provided an enormously positive experience for our performers.

Well done and congratulations to everyone who:

  • had a go
  • took a risk
  • tried something new
  • practiced
  • took themselves out of their comfort zone
  • found the stage to be their happy place

We are proud of you all.

A special thanks to the SRC who helped with the coordination of this event under the excellent direction of Miss Hollie French and Mrs Kerryn Aikman.

Year 5 SRC Report

Hi, this is the Year 5 SRC Report

We would like to thank everyone that participated in the St Cecilia’s Got Talent and helped out. It turned out to be a great day and everyone embraced their skills that some people didn’t even know they had.

How the day went…

It was a Wednesday at recess and the show began! The senior SRCs judged the juniors and they all went so well. There were heaps of different acts such as singing, dancing, roller skating and gymnastics. So many people participated and impressed all of us. Some people came out of their comfort zone and did an amazing job!

All and all everyone did an amazing job and the numbers were bigger than we expected. Their day was on Thursday during snack and lunch. Like the juniors, they all had different acts such as dancing, singing, magic, drawing, roller skating and gymnastics. For the seniors, the junior SRCs judged and did an amazing job. There were quite a few soloists and a few groups had loads of people and alot of cheering!!

The finalists that made it through to the next round on Friday at 3:00pm are Raph, Lucy R, Millie M, Chloe M, Thea S and Luca B. For the juniors, they were Nora, Zoe, Lara, Renee, Will D and Molly.

A special  shoutout to Mrs Aikman, Miss French and Mr Mooney and  all the SRCs and of course all of the acts.

Here are our fantastic finalists!!!

Congratulations to all of our participants.

We had over 60 acts!!!
