FOR THE LOVE OF DELICIOUS FOOD - YEAR 7 FOOD TECHNOLOGY
Year 7 Food Technology students have gotten off to a flying start with their cooking skills this year at McKinnon. We have had a great range of different recipes (both sweet and savoury) that have originated from far reaching corners of the globe. Students have enjoyed Cannelloni, Pizza, Apple Crumble and even the humble Pikelet made that extra bit fancier with some Berry Coulis on top.

Despite inevitable interruptions with NAPLAN and other extracurricular activities, each class has shown their resilience in being able to get on with the task quickly and efficiently, still managing to cook in a single lesson. We look forward to Chicken Laksa this week and continuing to see the students grow their capabilities and skills in the kitchen this term.
