It’s time to celebrate!
St. John’s Primary School Community is seeking expressions of interest from parents and friends wishing to contribute to the establishment of a Steering Committee to develop a proposal for a Community Twilight Evening in celebration of St. John’s Primary School’s Centenary Year.
We would like to bring together a motivated and passionate group of parents/friends and staff with the common goal of developing and creating a vision for a community gathering in Term 4.
Committee members will drive the planning and delivery of a Twilight Evening event. The number of places on the committee will be limited, however the committee members will be seeking suggestions and support from the wider St. John’s Community to ensure that it is a memorable celebration event for all.
Please email the following staff members to provide your expression of interest, including your name and a brief description of the reason for your interest and the skills and knowledge you may bring to the Steering Committee if successful.
A ‘Shout Out’ to our St. John’s Alumni
In our 100th Year of providing Catholic Education to the community of Footscray and West Footscray, we would love to hear from the extensive St. John’s Alumni so that we can reconnect and share our stories. In particular, we would like our past students to share any photos, images of memorabilia or artifacts and anecdotes of your time at St. John’s.
Please email us at
When uploading images, please send them in jpeg format so that we can save them to our digital archive. Please note that it will be assumed that images shared can be used as part of the Celebration of 100 Years of St. John’s Primary School.
Please provide some details for your images including names, date/year (or circa) and a brief caption or description to accompany the photos/images.
We ask all current families to share this information widely to all former students, families and staff of St. John’s so that we may create a rich and vibrant snapshot of Life and Learning at St. John’s for 100 years.
