Interhouse Swimming Carnival - 14 February

  • The carnival is a Special Event Day (SED), all students should be in attendance.
  • Students and staff are to make their own way to the carnival, entering through the McGillivray oval gate. Students may arrive as early as 8.00am. All must be in attendance by 8.20am.
  • Students must make their way to House areas (see map attached) and be seated ready for roll call with their Homeroom teacher at 8.30am.
  • Students should wear House shirt with PE uniform.
  • Students must wear only College bathers/quick dry shorts and House swimming caps during competitive swimming events. Students incorrectly dressed will not be allowed to race.
  • Dressing up is not appropriate at this event. Students may wear House coloured zinc.
  • Staff and students will need to provide their own food/drinks for the day. There is no kiosk available for students.

Students unable to participate should bring a note and inform their House Coordinator and ADP. Assistance with catering and marshalling will be required during the day.

 

Students are responsible for finding their own transport home. Pick up is to be made from the back of HBF stadium.

NAS Trials

NAS trials are well under way in preparation for our 2020 competition which will begin in Week 4. Please see below the NAS trial schedule. Any new students or those that did not get the opportunity to register for a trial last year, may register their name at the start of each trial. Can all students meet in the pavilion at the start of their selected trials.

Swimming Training

Swimming training will commence on Monday 10 February (week 2) from 7:00am-8:00am. Training will take place on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the lead up to the ACC A Division Swimming Carnival at the end of this term. There will be no training session on Friday 14 February due to our Interhouse carnival day. All students are welcome to attend.

Cross-Country Training

Cross-Country training will commence on Tuesday 11 February (week 2) from 7:00am-8:00am. Training will take place on every Tuesday and Thursday in the lead up to the ACC Cross Country Carnival in Term 2.  All students are welcome to attend.

Australian World Cup Team Selection

Aislinn Morris (Year 12) recently competed at the U18 Women’s softball championships in Blacktown NSW, playing for WA. At the conclusion of this competition , Softball Australia selected a team to compete in the Softball Junior World Cup in Lima, Peru in August. We are extremely proud to announce that Aislinn has been selected in the Australian World Cup team.
