Pathways & Transitions

Welcome

As the new Head of Pathways and Transitions I was fortunate to have the opportunity to speak to our Year 11 and 12 students this week. After recounting a story about Terrico White, who plays basketball for the Perth Wildcats, my message to them was to relax, play to your strengths and make the most of the opportunities for an enjoyable and successful transition into the next phase of their life.

Whether it be university direct, a transition program, training direct or employment, the opportunities for all students to pursue excellence in their chosen courses is encouraged.

This year we have over 50 senior students studying off-site courses in a wide range of areas. Our Year 10 students will continue to participate in our Pathway Planning program and be encouraged to start their planning early for transition into Year 11 and 12.

Throughout the year key dates and events will be communicated through the Newsletter such as University and TAFE open days and events. Appointments to discuss courses of interest can be made using the contact details below.

I welcome the opportunity to offer guidance and support to all students and their families throughout the year.
