Winners – Intermediate Boys and Girls Hockey.

Congratulations to both the girls and boys intermediate hockey teams. The girls beat Mooroolbark in a tight contest 1-0, and Melba 5-0 to progress through to Region.

The boys, after leading against Norwood and controlling a lot of the game, gave away a penalty corner in the last minute. This gave Norwood the opportunity to draw the game, which they did, meaning that we were off to a penalty shoot-out.

Silas, our goalkeeper for the game, did an incredible job dealing with all the pressure. He blocked Norwood’s last two penalties to give Ringwood the win. Amazing!

Congratulations to both teams. The boys Region competition will be held on Tuesday the 4th of October and the girls on Tuesday the 11th of October. Best of luck.
