Music Report for August 

Congratulations to all ensembles who have participated in the Victorian Schools Music Festival over the past month. For a lot of our music students this was the first time they have performed in this festival which runs over 5 weeks involving schools from all over the metropolitan area and beyond. After a 3-year hiatus it is great to be back performing and listening to other schools. Our student were fine ambassadors for the College, often in sections of heavily dominated private schools.

Platinum is awarded to the most outstanding ensemble. Great effort Intermediate Stage Band! 

Best wishes to the last RSC ensemble to perform this Friday, Junior Concert Band. 

All ensembles will be presenting their final performance for 2022 at our upcoming Gala concert, Thursday 15 September, 7.30pm, at George Woods Performing Arts Centre, Yarra Valley Grammar. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to join us and celebrate our return to playing this year and farewell our year 12 students. Bookings can be made via Eventtix once the link becomes available. Ticket costs are Adult $22.50, Concession $15 and Family of Four (2 adults and 2 children) $60.
