School Improvement Team

On Wednesday 18, Mackellar P.S opened its doors to the prospective grade preps and their families with school tours taken by students and a fantastic information evening for parents. It was wonderful to have families return in person and we weren’t short of staff who stayed back to make the evening such a success. 

Families and community friends were welcomed at the door by Prep teacher, Shelley Wockner, Student Wellbeing leader, Jo Wood, and the ABC Instrumental music representative.

 Student leaders from across the school took families on the school tour, then everyone was invited to share a Halal sausage sizzle, prepared and served by our Assistant Principal, Anthony Michelin.

With a cuppa in hand, the presentation of our strong and comprehensive curriculum to the families was well received.

We concluded with an informal question and answer session. We were very flattered to be congratulated on our presentation by current and former parents who were very pleased that their children attended Mackellar P.S.
