School Council

Dear Parents,

On Tuesday June 7 at 6:00pm, school council will be holding a parent forum where all parents are encouraged to come along and share your views on what we are doing well and should continue to do. We are also keen to know what we are doing which we should stop, and what good ideas should we start doing. This will be a very interactive evening with you letting us know how we can make our school even better than it already is.  Your views are important to us and will help us form the goals and strategies of our next strategic plan.  We would love you to be a part of charting our future direction. Please put this date in your diary, and stay tuned for more information via XUNO.

With one month to go until school holidays, the time until installation of our new playground near the canteen grows closer.  The students are really looking forward to transforming what is a tired and somewhat run-down section of the school into a bright and exciting new playground. This new playground will offer a range of fast-paced excitement filled activities as well as some calmer more peaceful areas for creative play. Once installed, all of our playgrounds will be brand new, all will meet current safety standards, and all offer something a little different for our students.

As mentioned in our last newsletter, now that we can welcome back parent volunteers, Nicole in the canteen would be very grateful if parents were able to volunteer on certain days to help lighten the load for her.  If you are able to assist, please contact the office.

Regards,
