Library Halloween

In the week leading up to 31 October 2021, we celebrated Halloween with spooky decorations and a display of new ‘Books with Bite’.  

Our feature author was Karen McManus. Karen  McManus is a #1 New York Times international bestselling author of young adult thrillers. Her work, which includes the One of Us Is Lying series, Two Can Keep a Secret, The Cousins, and You’ll Be the Death of Me, has been translated into more than 40 languages worldwide. Karen’s first book One of us Is Lying was published in 2017 and has recently been made into a Television series.  Likened to the cult classic film ‘The Breakfast Club but with a little bit of murder’, One of Us is Lying is a high-stakes thriller about five kids who have detention after school — and only four walk out alive.
