Compulsory staff briefing occurs daily from 8.40 - 8.50am in the staffroom to communicate important information for the day. Even Sid & Archie attend!

Do you know that the new 'Be You' program replaces KidsMatter?

In our last newsletter we announced the New National Education Initiative 'Be You'.

The National Mental Health Commission Review of Mental Health Programmes and Services Report of 2014 found that there were multiple initiatives promoting social and emotional health and wellbeing for children and young people across education settings. These Australian Government funded programs included:

• Response Ability
• KidsMatter Early Childhood
• KidsMatter Primary
• MindMatters
• headspace School Support

Beyond Blue was appointed to lead 'Be You' by the Australian Government in June 2017.

Do you know when school starts in 2019?

Term 1 commences on Wednesday 30 January (9.00am - 3.30pm for students in Years 1 - 6 and 9.30am - 1.00pm for Prep students).

Staff commence on Tuesday 29 January, 2019.
