National Tree Day
Year 12 students connected with nature as part of Schools/National Tree Day on Friday 28th July, planting 100 indigenous plants at GEC along the Booran Road frontage. These plants add to local biodiversity and complement the nearly 1000 plants planted in previous year’s National Tree Days and parent working bees.
A big thank you to Catherine McNaughton (GEC parent & GECPA member) who organised the planting again this year, and thanks to Glen Eira Council for the grant to facilitate additional plants.
We hope everyone enjoys the new gardens.
