PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Time To Celebrate!

With just a matter of days until the end of the school year, I think it is now safe to say that we have lots to celebrate here at St Andrews Christian College! First and foremost, what a wonderful feeling that for the first time since 2019, our students have completed an entire year of schooling onsite and with face-to-face learning! Students being connected and engaged in learning at school has understandably been something that prior to 2020 we took for granted. However, after two years of lockdowns and interrupted learning, we have this year felt blessed to again experience the joy of school life; connection, community, growing together in our Christian faith.

Celebrations are an important part of our final days of the school year. Celebration of student achievement, service and character in our Primary celebration morning and Secondary presentation evening. Our staff will celebrate the conclusion of another school year with food, fellowship and taking the time to acknowledge and honour the staff who are leaving the College at the end of the year. But the most significant celebration awaits us, as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. As we soon head into the Christmas period, I pray that we don’t get caught up and distracted by the impending rush of Christmas, but rather we take some time to slow down and reflect on the birth of Jesus.

"And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
Luke 1:31-33

May God bless you,
