SEGAP

Congratulations to the Junior Softball Team who won the SEGAP Grand Final on 17 October. They played against Killester, OLSH and Sacred Heart Oakleigh. They played OLSH in the Grand Final game and defeated them 16 – 12. The girls batted well and communicated well when fielding. There were some great passages of play throughout the high scoring game. This topped off a very successful week with this same team winning the SCSA Softball earlier in the week at Jells Park in Waverley.

The Tennis Team participated well under extremely windy conditions. This was the final game for the junior teams for 2019.

The Intermediate Team played on Tuesday. The weather was amazing. The Softball team lost to Killester 6-3, lost to OLSH 9-5 and then defeated SHGC 6-5. Georgia Robinson and Maddy Torpey hit amazing home runs and Jasmine Young took the most spectacular catch beyond 2nd base which looked incredible!

The Tennis team made it to the Grand Final game against OLSH. Unfortunately they lost in the final. Congratulations to all players.
