Naplan Results for 2019

Today individual NAPLAN results are going home with Year 3 and Year 5 children. Please take time to sit down with your children and discuss the report. While they are only a snapshot of what we do at St Mary's, it is another opportunity for parents to demonstrate to their children they value education and are interested in their children’s learning.

School Uniform

I thank parents for their continual efforts to ensure that the students present themselves in the correct school uniform in a neat and tidy manner each day. It is an important aspect of school for it teaches the children to understand that standards are important in their lives and to respect the community to which they belong.

A reminder that students will be wearing their  summer uniform from the commencement of Term 4 .

Compass & Skoolbag App

Over the last year we have been moving all our announcements from Skoolbag App to Compass in our school. From the commencement of Term 4 we will no longer be using Skoolbag App to send out reminders and notifications these will all go through Compass. Please make sure that you have access to Compass and that you have your notifications turned on.

One of the many advantages of using Compass is that reminders and notifications can be sent as an email to families as well. Therefore it is important for families to always make sure that the school as your most current contact details - phone, mobile and email.

Drought Relief

At this time of drought which is affecting so many in our community, the school and The Catholic Schools Office are aware that some families may be suffering hardship. Families whose income has been affected by the current drought are asked to contact the Principal to discuss any assistance that the school may be able to offer.
