Year 12 Dinner – 12th October 2022

Another year is almost over as we commence the celebrations for our amazing Year 12 students.  As is the tradition many staff members attended the Year 12 dinner, unfortunately I was unable to attend the dinner this year but I was thinking of our students and the three year journey and how much we have shared together, some unusual times and some great memories.  Time flies here at the College, I can hardly believe three years have passed.  Congratulations to both students and their families.  It sure takes a village….

Enrolment Day November 24th and 25th

I am looking forward to the above dates and the opportunity of welcoming new families to the College.  Please make an appointment with the administration staff to attend this appointment. This provides me with the opportunity to run through boarding information and to answer any questions that you may have.  In addition, we have plenty of second hand moleskins and class shirts.

Enrolment Day would be an ideal time to head into the laundry and check out sizes before families go to the expense of buying new clothing (all clothing is in good condition).  The College appreciates the donation of pre-loved uniforms, so please, keep them coming.  Students are encouraged to chat with the laundry ladies when they grow out of their current size and swap over before outlaying dollars for new clothing.

Leavers Jacket 2023

The design for the 2023 leaver’s jacket has been completed.  Thank you to Travis Freeguard and Yasmine Pages who put some work into the design for next year.  The sizing kit is on its way, I will let students know when it arrives.  Once all the students have their size I will release the link via email to all parents and students.  The idea is to get this sorted before the end of the year so the jackets can go into production and arrive in Term 1, 2023.

Corriedale & Bull Boarders/Day jumpers

A jumper is being designed for all to students and staff to wear in casual situations.

The design using a Corriedale sheep is next in the series of for the boarders/day/staff casual wear jumper, this will be released shortly, the Corriedale adds to the series of the rooster and the bull.  Everyone can access the jumper. We have two designs; one with 'DENMARK' down the arm and the other with 'BOARDERS' down the arm.   This will allow day students and staff to buy the jumper for casual wear.  I have added the same for the Bull jumper.  I will provide size measurements so ordering is made easier, they are generous in size.

Leave (early leave and absence)

If parents or students are putting in leave to go early from the program or are away for a day or more, please make contact with the Deputy Principal with the details for the absence. I will not approve early leave without information in the notes and confirmation that a phone call to the College has been made.  If you see that I have rejected the leave I will provide information in the rejection for you to contact the College.
