YEAR 9 OES PROM HIKE AND BOAT TRIP

The year 9/10 Outdoor Education class had a brilliant day at Wilsons Prom on Friday 2nd June. We started bright and early with a boat tour around the coastline, learning about the wildlife, coastal conditions, and history of the southernmost point of Australia. After a rosella-filled lunch break we then took a quick trek to the top of Mount Oberon, basking in the beautiful views of land and water. It was a fabulous day in nature and a reminder for all of us to appreciate and respect the beautiful world we inhabit.

The whales were again elusive for us on this trip, but there were plenty of feathered locals at Tidal River that were very friendly.
