College Production

2021 Production 

We are thrilled to announce that the 2021 College Production is Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical! This exhilarating show will be performed in the Kilbreda College Auditorium from Wednesday 11 August to Sunday 22 August.

Inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl, the Tony Award-winning Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical is a captivating masterpiece that revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination and the inspiring story of a girl who dreams of a better life.

Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, this is the perfect choice for our students to shine, both on and off the stage! 

Students are encouraged to get involved in one of the many areas that are essential to the production. Production internships are currently open for students in Years 9 to 11 in the areas of production, drama coaching, vocal coaching, choreography, sound, lighting, costume, set design and backstage.  Applications close on 13 November.

Students in Years 7 to 12 wishing to be involved in a production ‘team’ will have a chance to apply in February 2021.

Auditions for performance roles will be held in February 2021 and audition materials will be released at the start of the 2021 school year.

Our students will work with students from St Bede's College and will have the opportunity to be mentored by current musical theatre industry professionals.

We would also like to extend the invitation for parents and members of our extended college community to be involved in our project –building, painting, sewing or any other skill you may have.
