Community Golf Day

The 2020 COVID-19 postponed Golf Day was finally played in 2021 under sunny skies and a very comfortable playing temperature of 21˚C with little wind.

On Monday March 15, 76 players enjoyed the ninth Sacré Cœur Community Annual Golf Day at the glorious Commonwealth Golf Club.

This year there were eleven men’s teams battling it out for the Men’s Trophy. Of the six teams vying for the Women’s Trophy, three were Alumnae teams competing for the magnificent Alumnae Bowl, which was presented by Kerry Bergin and Marianne Cassin, Alumnae Association Co-Presidents, while there were also a couple of mixed teams. 

Congratulations to all who took part in this annual event. Results were once again very close and special congratulations to our top scorers.

Our alumnae teams performed so well they took out both the ladies and alumnae categories!

Winning Team Ladies/Alumnae Team: Rosemary Kelly’s team with Anne Carne, Louise Moodie and Gen Rawling.

Runners Up Ladies/Alumnae: Mary Ann Banting’s team with Danni Gobbo, Flavia Gobbo and friend Glenda Clarke.
