Principal News

Lord God, no one is a stranger to you and no one is ever far from your loving care.

A reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Philippians 4:6-7

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ.

To our Graduating Year Twelve Class of 2020…

We pray that their journey, with all its ups and downs, twists and turns, will be joyful. We pray that they will always sense that the Lord is near them, that the peace of God who is beyond our understanding will guard their hearts and thoughts in Jesus Christ.

Amen

Dear Parents, Students and Friends,

Year 12 will be farewelled next Monday 21 September at 10am in the College Hall. The gathering will commence with a Blessing Mass celebrated by College Chaplain, Fr Paul, followed by their final Academic Assembly. Due to Covid restrictions, only Year 12 will be in the hall, with a handful of selected Year 11 students and Year 12 staff. The event will be live streamed so that parents will be able to watch through the College Facebook page.

My thanks also to Year Coordinator Ms Star, Homeroom and class teachers. We wish them well and every success as they prepare for their HSC Exams. Study well everyone....

My thanks to staff who are taking Year 12 tutorials over the holiday break. There are quite a few occurring and I am indebted to each of them for the dedication to our students and their profession.

During the Academic ceremony the handover of student leadership for 2021 will take place. They will be joined by the complete 2021 Year 12 Leadership Team at the Induction Ceremony early next term.

Please note that Monday 12 October-Day 1 of Term Four is a Pupil Free Day to enable staff to hold their annual Spirituality Day. All students Years 7-11 return Tuesday 13 October.

Peace and Best Wishes
